Updates from Katchanland

I realize I’ve become much more sporadic with the posts (understandable, given I’m taking an accelerated half-semester class while working full time), but that doesn’t mean I haven’t kept Triple Crit on my mind. Here’s a quick rundown on what I’ve been up to and what I’ll be blogging about soon:

  1. Sasarindō: I got the character and clan sheets the way I want them, so now it’s just a matter of filling out the sheets, providing a few fortunes and downfalls and intrigues a la the upcoming HotB companion. Though I may want to bring in some bits from Josh Roby’s Coronets but Never Crowns, the perfect addition to your noble campaign.
  2. City of Dreadful Night: With any luck I’ll be starting up a Wraith: the Oblivion game soon set in Victorian London. I have a book on Dickensian Mysteries I plan on using as fodder for the campaign, in addition to the sporadic vampire or werewolf here and there, but mostly the focus will be on the charatcers, their shadows, and their fetters. More updates to come as I flesh out (pardon the pun) the world and struggle with three rulesets.
  3. Lady Blackbird: Seeing as most of my SUNY school friends will have off for the Jewish fall festival Rosh Hashanah, I’ll be running the steampunk airship one-shot Thursday evening (it’s tonight that’s the big deal). I already know who some of the players are going to be, but it’s nice that they gave us enough to do custom characters as well, and the in-game advancement system is wicked. You can expect a full report Friday evening or Saturday so long as I don’t collapse from homework and work first.

That’s it for now. I’ll catch up with everyone over the weekend, and perhaps work on some goodies for registered members. We’ll see how it goes. A tout!
