In between homework assignments I’ll be working my way through two books (I couldn’t decide which one I wanted so I got them both), The 90-Day Novel ($3.99 on Kindle) and Book in a Month ($13.79 on Kindle), using the former to help me prep in the remaining 21 days of October and the latter to foster writing sprees during NaNo itself. By the end I’ll hopefully be able to offer book reviews as to which I liked more or whether the dual approach might work for others.
I’ll be organizing my notes on none other than the Windows version of Scrivener, which I’ve already used to outline the book at some length (thank you tedious hours on the garden register in the April snows). Hopefully we’ll see the full version coming out by the end of the year, as it’s really come a long way since the initial beta and it much, much more usable.
Anyway, for those of you are writers yourselves, I’ll be posting periodic updates on my progress and thoughts on writing more generally. Otherwise you can change your RSS feed subscription to my pen n’ paper-only version here.
